Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Tulare, CA

The assignment runs for the full 2025–2026 academic year, with a typical schedule of 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts starting as early as 7:30 am, depending on the site. You will engage with an average caseload of 50 students, working closely with educators and families to foster student growth.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field required
• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
• Previous experience in both educational and healthcare settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to provide services in accordance with guidelines
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Experience assessing and supporting children ages PreK through 5th grade

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs and progress
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver SLPA services per IEPs, maintaining careful documentation
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other team members
• Communicate with families and staff regarding student goals and achievements
