Apply NowStep into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the PreK–5th grade population, with the upcoming school year running from August 6, 2025, to June 5, 2026. This position offers 40 hours per week, with start times varying by site—generally between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m.—in alignment with an eight-hour workday. As you work with an average caseload of 50 students, your expertise will have a direct impact on their communication success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) License
- Prior experience providing therapy services in either school-based or healthcare settings
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to serving diverse learners in a hands-on, on-site role (this assignment is not open to teletherapy)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as outlined by IEP guidelines
- Provide direct therapy and support under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborate actively within multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
