Skilled Nursing Facility Speech & Language Pathology Assistant - Visalia, CA

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services in an elementary school setting serving students from PreK through 5th grade. The role starts August 6, 2025, and concludes June 5, 2026, with a 40-hour work week. Daily schedules vary by site, typically beginning between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. and lasting an eight-hour day. This position requires on-site service delivery as teletherapy is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s IEP.
• Provide SLPA services that support communication development for students with diverse needs.
• Manage an average caseload of approximately 50 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Active SLPA license.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically PreK to 5th grade, preferred.
• Ability to adapt daily schedules based on site requirements.
