Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Visalia, California

A contract position is open for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based therapy services in Visalia, CA. This role supports students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, helping to assess and address speech and language needs in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver SLPA services aligned with IEP guidelines.
• Manage an average caseload of 50 students.
• Work 40 hours weekly with daily schedules typically starting between 7:30 and 7:45 AM for an 8-hour day.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Active SLPA license.
• Experience working in school or healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to work onsite; teletherapy is not offered for this position.

This contract runs from August 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026. Immediate interviews are available.
