Schedule & Hours

  • 8-hour night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Expectation to work 75% of scheduled holidays
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Floating required within the region’s facilities as needs arise; paid travel time when moving between locations mid-shift

Qualifications

  • Active LPN license with current BLS certification
  • Minimum 18 months’ experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care rehabilitation setting
  • Recent experience in trach management, wound care, foley care, IV starts/management, and tube feedings
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Willingness to float between regional locations in accordance with facility needs
  • Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from primary worksite

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate clinical care to patients with conditions such as stroke, amputation, neurological disorders, and post joint replacement
  • Perform wound and dressing changes, assist with foley care, manage trach tubes, and conduct IV administration and tube feedings
  • Accurately document all care provided using EPIC EMR system
  • Collaborate closely with nursing leadership, healthcare technicians, therapists, and case management teams
  • Support daily admissions and ensure continuity of care across shifts and locations
  • Adhere to established policies, including scrub color requirements (ceil blue) and departmental protocols
