An opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized nursing care in a skilled nursing environment. This contract position offers a chance to work 8-hour night shifts in a supportive and collaborative clinical setting focused on both short-term and long-term patient recovery.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from strokes, amputations, neurological disorders, joint replacements, and other conditions.
- Manage complex clinical tasks including tracheostomy care, Foley catheter management, wound care and dressing changes, IV starts and maintenance, and tube feedings.
- Collaborate closely with nursing leadership, therapy teams, case management, and healthcare technicians to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems effectively.
- Float within the region to other skilled nursing facilities as needed, ensuring continuity of care across multiple locations.
- Participate in admission processing and maintain accurate patient documentation.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active LPN license with current BLS certification.
- Minimum 18 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care rehabilitation setting.
- Proficient in tracheostomy care, wound management, Foley care, IV therapy, and enteral feeding.
- Comfortable with regional floating responsibilities and flexible to travel between facilities within the designated rehab network.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
Schedule & Contract Details:
- 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday (40 hours weekly).
- Weekend rotation every other week.
- No on-call or call-back required.
- Assigned to work approximately 75% of holidays during the contract term.
- Orientation includes two days of departmental training.
- Free parking on site.
