Licensed Practical Nurse - Prestonsburg, Kentucky

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering safe, quality patient care in accordance with established standards
• Administering medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitoring patient status, updating medical records, and communicating changes promptly
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Supporting physicians and other nurses with daily procedures and patient rounds

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license
• Previous experience in Med Surg or acute care setting strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience with electronic health records is desirable
