Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing
  • Previous experience in med-surg nursing (preferred for RN applicants)
  • Strong knowledge of standard nursing practices and healthcare protocols
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required); Advanced certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and individualized nursing care to patients on a med-surg unit
  • Perform physical assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient symptoms and progress
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to develop and implement care plans
  • Accurately document patient records and update care activities
  • Educate patients and families on care routines and post-discharge instructions
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and support a structured, caring environment
