Take your nursing career to the next level by providing specialized care in a dynamic cardiac environment. Experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Cath Lab procedures are needed to support a dedicated medical team. This contract role requires flexibility in hours and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Schedule Details:

  • Rotating schedule with 1 weekend per month on call
  • Weekday call shifts: 4-5 days per pay period (weekend included in total)
  • Call requirement: End of shift to 7:30 AM (Monday through Friday as scheduled)
  • Weekend call: End of Friday shift to 7:30 AM Monday

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of two years’ recent acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong cardiac monitoring, assessment, and emergency response skills
  • Competency with invasive cardiac procedures, administration of moderate sedation, and patient recovery practices
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses in real time
  • Maintain aseptic technique and uphold all procedural safety protocols
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care and patient/family education
  • Accurately document procedures, assessments, and interventions in the EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes
