Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license, valid in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of recent direct Cath Lab nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Proficiency with invasive cardiac procedures and patient assessment
• Exceptional communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with EMR charting preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and care for patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, techs, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
• Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
