A highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to support endoscopy and GI lab services under a contract opportunity. This position requires a nurse who is proficient in providing care during various endoscopic procedures and can collaborate effectively with medical staff in a fast-paced, clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist gastroenterologists and other providers during endoscopy procedures, including preparation and recovery phases.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at every stage.
  • Administer sedation under established protocols, observe patients for adverse reactions, and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts, including procedure details, medications given, and patient assessments.
  • Oversee the cleaning, sterilization, and setup of endoscopy equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding procedure steps, aftercare instructions, and follow-up requirements.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes and quality care.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Proven experience in Endoscopy/GI Lab nursing required.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-op, intra-op, and post-op nursing responsibilities relevant to endoscopic procedures.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and calmly in a dynamic setting.

$1,557 - $1,703/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
