An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in Endoscopy and GI Lab nursing. In this contract role, you will play an essential part in delivering specialized care to patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures. Your expertise ensures both safety and comfort for patients throughout the perioperative process.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year of RN experience, with recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in monitoring sedation, assisting physicians during procedures, and handling post-procedure recovery
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Support patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures, monitoring vital signs and response to treatments
- Prepare procedural area and equipment according to infection control standards
- Assist physicians during a variety of GI/endoscopic procedures
- Administer and monitor sedation safely
- Provide thorough patient education and post-procedure care instructions
- Document care in an accurate and timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, techs, and other nursing staff to ensure seamless care

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
