Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) - Arden, North Carolina

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy RN to provide patient-focused care in a dynamic GI Lab environment. This contract position features a variable shift schedule and uniquely structured call rotation, offering valuable exposure in a progressive setting.

Schedule:

• Variable shifts
• 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within a 6-week period

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Proven nursing experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab
• Familiarity with endoscopic procedures and related patient care
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to manage rotating call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, assessing vital signs and recovery status
• Safely handle endoscopic equipment, maintain infection control protocols, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to best practices and regulatory requirements
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, contribute to a culture of safety, and maintain a strong focus on patient dignity

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
