Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) | Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• Includes 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls in a 6-week period

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year prior experience in Endoscopy, GI Lab, or procedural nursing
• Experience with high-acuity patients strongly preferred
• Ability to respond promptly to a variety of GI emergencies
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with medical teams
• Monitor patients’ vital signs pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Prepare, utilize, and maintain specialized endoscopy equipment following established protocols
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and discharge planning
• Respond efficiently to rapid changes or urgent situations, including while on-call
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital standards

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
