Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Asheville, NC

Bring your expertise in Endoscopy and GI Lab nursing to an esteemed acute care environment in Asheville. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong endoscopy experience, ready to contribute to high-quality patient care alongside an expert team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within a 6-week period

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to manage urgent situations in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Prior call experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures and GI interventions
• Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control throughout all processes
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately
• Collaborate with ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations, as scheduled
• Educate patients and families on procedures and aftercare

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
