Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) | Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• 4 weeknight on-call duties and 3 weekend on-call rotations in a 6-week schedule

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous nursing experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab required
• Demonstrated ability to respond efficiently in urgent and complex cases
• Proficient in endoscopic procedures, pre-op and post-op patient assessments, and moderate sedation care
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and ancillary staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care throughout the peri-procedural period
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Administer and monitor sedation, anticipate patient and physician needs
• Manage documentation efficiently to ensure compliance and continuity of care
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding promptly to urgent procedural needs
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout care delivery
• Support patient and family education on procedures, recovery, and follow-up

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
