Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy suites and equipment according to infection control standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vitals, and administer prescribed sedation or medications.
• Offer pre- and post-procedure education and support for patients and their families.
• Respond efficiently to emergencies, exercising sound clinical judgement and critical thinking.
• Accurately document patient care activities and procedure notes in electronic medical records.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab settings.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Proficiency with endoscopic procedures, equipment operation, and infection control protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required.
