Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) | Candler, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within each 6-week schedule period

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year experience in Endoscopy/GI Lab required
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in endoscopic procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency interventions
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status, implement physician orders, and document care with accuracy
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for endoscopy procedures, maintaining a sterile field and compliance with infection control standards
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent situations
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedural care, and follow-up instructions
• Participate in on-call rotation per schedule requirements
