Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Candler, NC

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Previous experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab settings a must
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Strong assessment and IV skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in critical situations
• Excellent communication and clinical documentation abilities
• Capacity for teamwork in a fast-paced, procedural environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and recognize signs of complications or adverse reactions
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique
• Support gastroenterologists and fellow clinical staff throughout procedures
• Deliver education and post-procedure instructions to patients and families
• Administer medications and manage IV sedation under protocol
• Accurately chart assessments, interventions, and outcomes
