Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - Candler, NC

Schedule:

• Variable shifts
• Includes 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within a 6-week schedule

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing
• Expertise with endoscopic procedures, patient prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Advanced life support certification (BLS/ACLS)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond to emergent situations and participate on-call
• Adaptable to changing technology and fast-paced environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Admit, assess, and prepare patients for GI and Endoscopy procedures
• Monitor vitals and patient status throughout procedures
• Administer medications and sedation as ordered
• Assist physicians during endoscopic interventions
• Deliver post-procedure care, education, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate records according to facility protocols
• Uphold infection control, safety standards, and HIPAA compliance
• Address complications rapidly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
