Required Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license (or eligibility for licensure/limited permit)
• Previous experience in Endoscopy, GI Lab, or similar procedural nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient care skills
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to function independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Capacity to provide age-appropriate, empathetic care to a diverse patient population

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing, systematic patient assessments with focus on both physiological and psychological health
• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized care plans based on comprehensive data analysis
• Deliver direct patient care utilizing evidence-based practices and established safety standards
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately within unit and clinical records
• Respond promptly to emergency situations using established protocols, and communicate effectively with the team
• Participate in staff development and collaborate with peers for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain awareness of legal and ethical considerations in all aspects of patient care
• Uphold patient rights and institutional standards to ensure a positive patient experience
• Remain current with research and best practices in endoscopy and procedural nursing

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and assisting patients of varying sizes and abilities
• Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and clinical instrumentation requiring adherence to safety protocols
