Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Hendersonville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts with on-call responsibilities: 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls included within each 6-week rotation

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated ability to respond to urgent/endoscopic care situations
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous experience with on-call responsibilities preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures
• Monitor and assess patient responses throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, post-procedural care, and recovery expectations
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Participate in call rotations and respond promptly to emergent procedural needs
