Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Hendersonville, NC

An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced RN specializing in Endoscopy/GI Lab. Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• Includes 4 weeknight calls and 3 weekend calls within a 6-week schedule

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Proven RN experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab setting required
• Strong clinical assessment skills, especially in procedural and surgical environments
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Track record of working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with EMR charting systems preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused nursing care throughout the endoscopy/GI lab procedures, maintaining strict compliance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and procedural staff for seamless, safe patient care
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergencies while exercising sound clinical judgment
• Participate in on-call coverage as outlined in the scheduling rotation
• Provide patient and family education pre- and post-procedure
