Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Active and unrestricted RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience in endoscopy or GI Lab
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong IV skills and experience with conscious sedation
- Familiarity with endoscopic equipment, procedures, and infection control protocols
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and critical thinking abilities
- Adept at communicating compassionately with patients and team members
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in endoscopy and GI Lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Administer sedation, monitor vitals, and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedural care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records according to facility standards
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff for optimal procedure flow and patient outcomes
