Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) | Saint Matthews, South Carolina

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab settings
• Proficiency in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care for endoscopic patients
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment skills and familiarity with sedation protocols
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for endoscopic procedures, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols
• Assist physicians during procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and related GI interventions
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to sedation throughout the procedure
• Provide education and clear instructions to patients and families before and after procedures
• Document assessments, procedural details, and post-procedure recoveries accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to maintain a safe and efficient workflow
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in patient status

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
