Deliver specialized patient care by utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy and GI Lab procedures. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with a collaborative clinical team, supporting patients through pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care in a dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Proven experience in Endoscopy and/or GI Lab settings
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of endoscopic equipment, infection control standards, and patient safety
  • Excellent assessment, IV sedation administration, and monitoring skills
  • Effective communication skills to clearly interact with patients, families, and co-workers
  • Organizational ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced clinical setting

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based, schedule specifics provided during the interview process

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assess, and educate patients prior to endoscopic procedures
  • Assist physicians with procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications, responding quickly to changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility standards
  • Oversee care during recovery, providing post-procedure instructions and support
  • Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy equipment
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
