Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (RN) - Waverly, New York

Deliver high-quality care in a dedicated Endoscopy/GI Lab, working as a Registered Nurse on a contract assignment. This role focuses on providing comprehensive patient care, utilizing strong clinical judgment and advanced procedural knowledge in endoscopy settings.

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current NYS nursing license, limited permit, or eligibility required
• Prior experience in endoscopy or GI lab settings strongly preferred
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Strong understanding of established nursing standards and protocols
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Physical capacity to lift, move, and assist patients; frequent standing required
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Commitment to professional accountability, ongoing learning, and quality improvement
• Sensitivity to patient and family needs and rights
• Awareness of legal, ethical, and customer service standards in patient care

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing, thorough assessments of patient status and needs
• Formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care, including patient/family education
• Carry out care interventions skillfully and consistently, using appropriate instrumentation and resources
• Maintain accurate, timely, and concise patient records and documentation
• Actively participate in staff development and contribute to continuous improvement
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations following facility protocols
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care
• Engage with unit staff and leadership to meet organizational nursing goals

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
