Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - Weaverville, NC

Schedule:

• Variable shifts
• Four weeknight call shifts and three weekend call shifts required within a six-week schedule

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience in Endoscopy and/or GI Lab settings is essential
• Strong background in acute care or hospital-based nursing environments
• Clinical proficiency in sedation administration, monitoring, and emergency response
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding quickly to any changes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and hospital policies
• Participate in on-call rotations as outlined in the schedule, delivering prompt and compassionate care during urgent situations
