Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Endoscopy or GI Lab settings
• Proficiency in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care for endoscopic procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong IV insertion, conscious sedation, and monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and comfort

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assess, and educate patients before endoscopy or GI procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring sterile technique
• Monitor patient condition and manage patient response during procedures
• Deliver post-procedural care, including monitoring vital signs and providing discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in equipment maintenance and procedure room readiness
