This is a prime opportunity for an RN with strong Medical-Surgical Oncology skills and chemo certification to broaden their clinical expertise at a reputable cancer center. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts: Monday (8:00am start), Tuesday (7:00am start), Wednesday (7:30am start), Friday (6:30am start)
- No weekends or holidays
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Chemo certification (required)
- Oncology certification not required
- Strong Med-Surg Oncology experience
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients within an outpatient Cancer Center
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions in accordance with evidence-based protocols
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and social workers to optimize patient-centered care plans
- Educate patients and families about therapies, side effects, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
