Registered Nurse - Oncology in Deatsville, AL

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology. This contract role is ideally suited for a compassionate RN ready to deliver high-quality care to oncology patients.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Flexible shifts: choose between 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts, with days or nights available
• No on-call requirements
• Weekends and holidays off

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must hold a Florida RN license or be eligible via compact
• At least two years of relevant RN experience in a Med Surg/Oncology setting preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and med surg patients
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for side effects
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress
• Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families throughout the treatment process
