Registered Nurse - Oncology - Millbrook, AL

Seeking a skilled RN with strong Med Surg Oncology experience for an exciting contract opportunity. This role is well-suited to a compassionate and knowledgeable nurse eager to make a meaningful impact in oncology care. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Shifts: 3x12’s or 4x12’s, with both days and nights available
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend and holiday coverage not required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required; BSN strongly preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Florida state RN license or compact state license accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• Minimum 2 years’ recent Med Surg Oncology experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with oncology needs in a Med Surg setting
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, care teams, and support services to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Administer chemotherapy, monitor and manage side effects, and educate patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all facility safety and compliance standards
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
