Registered Nurse - Oncology - Millbrook, AL

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Flexible shifts: Choose between 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour schedules
• Day and night options available
• No on-call requirements
• Weekends and holidays are not required

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license (BSN preferred)
• Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• Kentucky state license or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience, preferably in Med Surg or Oncology settings
• Previous travel nursing experience highly regarded

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to oncology and Med Surg patients
• Administer chemotherapy, monitor patient responses, and manage side effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and ongoing care
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and implement necessary interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all clinical and safety protocols
