(RN) Registered Nurse - Oncology | Montgomery, Alabama

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Day and night shifts available (3x12 or 4x12 shifts)
• No on-call requirement; option for weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Med Surg or Oncology nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Compact state licensure accepted

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care and ongoing assessment for oncology/med surg patients
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff
• Administer chemotherapy, manage central lines, and monitor for complications
• Educate patients and family members regarding diagnoses and treatment protocols
• Document care plans and interventions accurately in the medical record
• Uphold all safety standards and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
