Schedule:
- Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Day and night shifts available (3x12 or 4x12 shifts)
- No on-call requirement; option for weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Med Surg or Oncology nursing
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Compact state licensure accepted
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and ongoing assessment for oncology/med surg patients
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff
- Administer chemotherapy, manage central lines, and monitor for complications
- Educate patients and family members regarding diagnoses and treatment protocols
- Document care plans and interventions accurately in the medical record
- Uphold all safety standards and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
