Registered Nurse - Oncology in Montgomery, AL

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
• Days or Nights available
• No on-call requirements
• Weekends and holidays are not required

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• Eligible for or holding a compact RN license
• At least 2 years of recent experience in med-surg or oncology nursing preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing oncology treatment within a med-surg environment
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and responses to treatment
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed, following all safety protocols
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout their care journey
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate with team members for optimal patient outcomes
