This role focuses on providing high-quality care to oncology patients and administering chemotherapy in a dynamic clinical environment. An Arizona or compact nursing license is required, with immediate availability preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with chemotherapy administration; a chemo certification is not required, but hands-on experience in a similar setting is essential.
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts weekly
- 40 hours guaranteed per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license valid in Arizona or compact state
- Demonstrated experience administering chemotherapy
- Background in Medical-Surgical Oncology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with acute patient needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- BLS certification (current)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to oncology patients, including medication administration and chemotherapy
- Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment, symptom management, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records according to facility protocols
- Respond to patient needs and changes in condition with professionalism and clinical expertise
- Adhere to best practices and safety guidelines specific to oncology care

$3,096 - $3,264/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
