Exciting opportunity available for an experienced RN with expertise in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing. Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
  • 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Shifts: 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 12-hour shifts available
  • Days or Nights offered (flexibility to suit your lifestyle)
  • No on-call, minimal weekends, minimal holidays

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license required; BSN strongly preferred
  • BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
  • Valid compact RN license or Kentucky State License
  • At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing experience preferred
  • Prior travel assignment experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate and clinically excellent oncology care to adult patients on a med-surg floor
  • Monitor patient status, administer chemotherapy and supportive medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
  • Counsel patients and families regarding treatments, side effects, and ongoing care needs
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort in all aspects of care delivery
