(RN) Registered Nurse - Oncology | Prattville, Alabama

Step into an impactful role supporting patients in an acute care oncology setting. This position is designed for a dedicated RN with Med Surg Oncology experience, seeking a dynamic and collaborative environment for a 13-week contract.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week contract assignment
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Shift options: 3x12’s or 4x12’s
• Day and night shifts available
• No on-call; weekends and holidays off

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (BSN preferred)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Eligible for Kentucky State License or compact state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Med Surg Oncology RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical Oncology setting
• Monitor, assess, and administer medications and chemotherapy as prescribed
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize each patient’s care plan
• Educate patients and families about treatments, interventions, and self-care
• Maintain accurate records and assist with discharge planning
