A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in Medical-Surgical Oncology. This contract role provides the chance to deliver compassionate, high-quality care while working on a dynamic team dedicated to supporting oncology patients.
Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- Full-time: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Shifts: choice of 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts
- Day and night shifts available
- No on-call requirements
- Weekends and holidays off
Qualifications:
- Active RN license; BSN preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS certification
- Valid state nursing license or compact license (Florida licensure accepted)
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience in Med-Surg/Oncology settings
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care utilizing evidence-based oncology and medical-surgical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, respond to critical changes, and provide emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain meticulous patient documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues and providers
- Uphold infection control standards and hospital best practices
