Registered Nurse - Antioch, TN

Step into a specialized role supporting advanced cardiac and transplant services as part of a high-performing perfusionist team. This contract position features consistent 8-hour shifts starting at 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with call required on a dynamic 6-tier system covering nights and weekends. Choose from orientation dates: 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, or 10/26.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. start
• Night and weekend call as scheduled on a 6-tier system

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of perfusionist experience, including at least 1 year in a Level 1 Trauma facility within the past year
• Active ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion) Certification
• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License required
• High school or college diploma (required for CAPS certification)
• Proficiency with POC devices
• Experience covering a full range of cases, including CABG, valves, adult congenital, dissections, complex aortic, minimally invasive, and transplant procedures (cardiac, thoracic, liver, lung)
• Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perfusion support for diverse and complex cardiac procedures, covering both scheduled and emergent cases
• ECMO support: manage cannulations, decannulations, circuit manipulation, CT transport, and participate in physical therapy sessions
• Cover TAVRs, LLE in CL/EP, mechanical thrombectomies, HIPEC cases, and be on standby for vascular and combo procedures
• Assist with ECMO transports from outside hospitals, NRP, and transplant-related duties as needed
• Maintain clinical readiness for any case complexity arising day or night

$5,687 - $6,016/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
