Registered Nurse in Mathiston, MS

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Compliance with a 50-mile radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and continuous support for laboring mothers and their newborns
• Monitor fetal and maternal status, promptly recognizing and responding to any changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and fellow nurses to ensure top-quality patient care
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and care delivered using the EPIC EHR platform
• Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards at all times

$1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
