Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm
• 40 hours per week

Core Responsibilities:

• Independently deliver cardiology nursing care in a clinic-based setting
• Monitor and interpret stress tests
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular health
• Collaborate with care teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation

Qualifications:

• Current RN license for New Mexico or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of cardiology RN experience; critical access hospital experience is a plus
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred
• BLS required (within 3 months if not current), ACLS (within 3 months), PALS (within 6 months)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and commitment to full assignment
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Mentmore
