Registered Nurse in Savannah, GA

An experienced Registered Nurse with strong Emergency Room (ER) skills is sought for a contract opportunity, offering the chance to deliver impactful patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience working as an ER nurse in an acute care facility
• Broad nursing skills with proven competency in emergency response situations
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS or TNCC preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and prioritize patient care in a busy ER setting
• Perform rapid assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and monitor patient status
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals on treatment plans
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families during high-stress situations
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, making sound decisions under pressure
