Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency room, utilizing strong clinical judgment and rapid assessment skills
• Triage and prioritize patient needs according to severity and established protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by providers
• Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with facility, state, and federal requirements
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety procedures in all clinical tasks
• Respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations and code responses

Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room/ER role
• Knowledge of emergency nursing processes, equipment, and nursing best practices
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications (PALS, TNCC, etc.) preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
