Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated experience in emergency room (ER) nursing
• Proficient in triage, rapid assessment, and responding to urgent situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare team members
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional emergency certifications preferred
• Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and emergency procedures
• Triage and prioritize incoming patients based on medical urgency
• Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Administer medication, start IV infusions, and perform treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan and evaluate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
