Pediatric Registered Nurse - Pediatrics | Clovis, California

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a pediatric setting (hospital or clinic)
• Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, care protocols, and medication administration
• BLS certification required; PALS certification highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to pediatric and family-centered care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, supporting their medical and emotional needs throughout assessment, treatment, and recovery
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and aftercare requirements with clarity and empathy
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
• Maintain an accurate medical record of patient progress and interventions
• Foster a safe, child-friendly environment adhering to infection control, safety, and privacy protocols
