Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted RN license
• At least one year of RN experience in pediatrics or pediatric specialty units
• Current BLS certification; PALS certification preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with commitment to safe, family-centered pediatric care

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans tailored for pediatric patients
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs
• Provide emotional support, health education, and resources to patients and their families
• Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and parents to coordinate optimal care
• Document all interventions, observations, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment following hospital protocols and infection control standards
• Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions as necessary
