Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience
- Proficiency with pediatric medication administration, patient assessments, and care planning
- Strong knowledge of pediatric illnesses, treatments, and family-centered care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare team members
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Accurately administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement pediatric care plans
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and at-home care instructions
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in patient safety initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
