Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a psychiatric or Geri-Psych nursing environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Valid BLS certification
• Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
• Experience with older adult populations preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and physical assessments for geriatric patients
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and mental health conditions
• Document all care provided accurately and promptly following facility protocols
• Respond effectively in crisis situations and assist in de-escalation as needed

$1,729 - $1,822/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
