Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license with Psychiatric nursing experience
• Strong understanding of evidence-based psychiatric and geriatric care
• Familiarity working in acute inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health settings, preferably with older adults
• Excellent assessment, crisis management, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care standards

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for geriatric psychiatric patients
• Monitor patient status, identify changes, and respond swiftly to mental health crises
• Administer medications and implement physician orders while following best practices in psychiatric nursing
• Document patient progress rigorously using electronic health records
• Partner with physicians, therapists, social workers, and patient families for comprehensive care planning
