Psych Registered Nurse (RN) in Hamilton, OH

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• Strong understanding of symptom management for mental health conditions
• Excellent crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting patient priorities
• Exceptional communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Willingness to collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-focused nursing care for adult or adolescent patients under psychiatric treatment
• Conduct assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and document patient progress thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or changes in condition
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and one-on-one interventions focused on patient recovery objectives
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, HIPAA, and industry standards at all times
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and care team members
• Respond promptly to psychiatric and medical emergencies using established protocols

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
