Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• Exceptional assessment, documentation, and crisis intervention skills
• Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and medication administration for psychiatric patients
• Strong communication abilities, with a patient-focused and empathetic approach
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration and healthcare technology systems

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with acute psychiatric conditions
• Administer medications, monitor side effects, and document all clinical actions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their loved ones regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Maintain patient safety through vigilant observation and adherence to facility protocols
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to patient progress evaluations
